Bedding Maybe???

This is the Baby Bedding that keeps catching my eye. We haven't decided yet. But thought i would post it and see what everyone thought of it!

It's a GIRL!!!

We are having another princess.
She currently weighs 13oz and is measuring right w/her due date May 15th. We are excited and trying to decide on a name and pick out what her nursery will be done in!
I need baby girl C names. All 3 of us start w/a c. Wasn't planned but it happened. So i have in my head that this little girl should have a C name to. My husband begs to differ but Chloie and i are trying to convince him other wise.

So if you have any C name suggestions please send them this way!

20 weeks

I'm 20 weeks today! Only 20 more to go!!! 140 days give or take left! woohoo!! I'm so excited!!! The baby is going to be here before we know it! Will we be ready??

Dec 30th @ 3pm is Round 2 to see if we can tell if we are having a boy or girl! I so hope we get to see! I have been wanting to go shopping and get a name picked out, nursery planned out and start registering. So pray this baby cooperates tomorrow and shows us!

* You're half way there!
* The rapid growth stage is about over. While things have slowed down, this next stage is vital to survival.
* The baby's heart grows stronger. Find a quiet place, lay flat on your back. Locate your own heartbeat by finding your pulse. Next lay your hand on your belly. You may be able to distinguish the two heartbeats!
* His legs are reaching their relative size. With the increase muscle develop occurring as well, you will start feeling much more than tiny flutter kicks soon!
* Immunities are being transferred from you to your baby now. These immune cells will protect her from viruses you've already had for up to six months after birth!
* The nerve cells for taste, smell, hearing, seeing, and touch are now developing in specialized areas of the brain. Production slows down as existing nerve cells grow larger and make more complex connections.
* Your baby may startle in reaction to loud sounds. Amazingly, she can actually hear noises outside of the womb. Familiar voices, music, and sounds that baby becomes accustomed to during her development stages often are calming after birth.
* If your baby is a girl, her uterus is starting to develop. She has approximately six million eggs in her ovaries. About one million will remain at birth.
* Baby is about 6.46 inches (16.4cm) and weighs around 10.58 ounces (300g).

19wks

19 weeks! Almost half way there!! 21 weeks to go!!
We can't wait till the 30th to hopefully find out what we are having!
I am feeling the baby move alot now. Last night i even felt it w/my my hand on my tummy!

Vernix caseosa a greasy white substance made of languno, oil and dead skin cells (yum) now coats baby's skin, shielding it from the amniotic fluid . (Picture yourself after a nine-month bath, and the need for protection makes sense.) You might actually get to see the vernix at birth, especially if baby is premature.
* Your baby has the same awake and sleep patterns of a newborn. He has a favorite position for sleep and recognizable active and rest periods.
* Throughout baby's body, nerves are being coated with a fatty substance called myelin, which insulates the nerves so that impulses can flow smoothly.
* Scalp hair becomes apparent this week. It has sprouted and continues to grow.
* The milk teeth buds have already developed and over the next few days the buds for the permanent teeth will begin to form behind the milk teeth.
* If baby is female the uterus starts to develop. If you're having a girl, the vagina, uterus, and fallopian tubes are in place.
* If it's a boy, the genitals are distinct and recognizable.
* Your baby is swallowing amniotic fluid and his or her kidneys are making urine.
* Your little one's size is around 6.02 inches (15.3cm) and 8.47 ounces (240gm).

18wks

Wow time has flown by in 2wks i will be 1/2 way there! This past week i have been sick with a cold. But hopefully i'm on the mend! Friday the 12th we had the dr appt and she tried to see if we were having a boy or girl but no luck. Baby Chesser was stubborn and kept it's legs closed! It was moving around like crazy though. It was neat to see it kicking and moving around. I'm begining to feel it move more.

Baby Chesser is as big as a sweet potato this week:

Your fetus has become amazingly mobile (at least compared to you), Passing the hours yawning, hiccuping, rolling, twisting kicking punching, sucking and swallowing. And baby is finally big enough that you will be able to feel those movements soon!

Week Eighteen

* Vernix (a white cheese-like protective material) forms on baby's skin with the lanugo (soft, lightly pigmented hair covering the body and limbs); both serving to protect your baby's skin during the months in water.
* Your placenta continues to grow and nourish the baby. Don't forget those prenatal vitamins!
* Tiny air sacs called alveoli begin to form in lungs. He'll be putting these lungs to good use in just a few months!
* Her vocal chords are formed. She goes through the motions of crying but without air she doesn't make a sound.
* Features of your baby's heart, including ventricles and chambers, should be visible during an ultrasound.
* Your baby measures about 5.59 inches (14.2cm) this week and weighs about 6.7 ounces (190gm).

17wks

Only 2 1/2 weeks and i'll be 1/2 way there! Friday is the big day at 10am to see if the baby will cooperate and let us see if we are having a boy or girl! We are beyond excited!

Right now the baby is the size of an onion!

Baby's skeleton is hardening, changing from rubbery cartilage to bone, and fat is finally accumulating around it. The umbilical cord is getting thicker and stronger, and those little fingers and toes are now topped by one-of-a-kind prints.

Baby at 17wks

  • By week 17, your baby weighs about 4.97 ounces (140gm) and is 5.12 inches (13cm) long.
  • He or she has a much more normal "human" appearance now. She holds her head more erect and her body and limbs are longer in proportion to her head.
  • Pads are forming on his tiny fingertips and toes. Soon those individual swirls and whorls will be apparent.
  • Her eyes are looking forward now, but they are still firmly closed.
  • Meconium (composed of products of cell loss, digestive secretion and swallowed amniotic fluid), is accumulating in the bowel. This black gooey substance will become your baby's first poop!
  • The umbilical cord is growing thicker and stronger and continues to rush blood and nutrients to your growing baby.
  • If your child is male the prostate begins to develop.
  • Her skeleton is transforming from cartilage to bone. The bones remain flexible to make the journey through the birth canal easier.

Voting Time

Ok it's voting time! I go to the dr in 9 days for my checkup and she is doing an ultrasound. If the baby cooperates we will find out if we are having a boy or girl! So please go cast your vote.

I want to print this out later to put in the baby book!

16wks

Those are a few pictures taken at 16wks & 3days. I can't believe in 9 days we might find out if we are having a boy or girl. With Chloie i was almost 8 months before i found out i was having a girl.

I think the nausea is starting to fade away. Now i just wish the food aversions would. I have not been able to eat hardly any meat. Don't know why but i gag every time. So hopefully that will soon fade to.

Our baby is the size of an avocado this week.

Watch what you say... tiny bones forming in baby's ears mean the little one can now pick up your voice. Eyebrows, lashes and hair are starting to fill in, and taste buds are forming. And, if you're interested, an ultrasound might be able to determine gender.

Week 16

* Fat begins to form underneath skin, providing your baby with insulation for the coming months.
* Did you know that both baby and placenta are now about the same size?
* Your little one has reached 4.57 inches (11.6cm) and approximately 3.53 ounces (100gm).
* His head and neck are held straighter now.
* This is a week of "mights!" You might hear the tiny thumps of his heartbeat with an external monitor now. The genitals are developed sufficiently that an experienced sonographer might be able to determine if your baby is a boy or a girl.
* Her heart is pumping as much as 6 gallons of blood a day and beats at a rate about double your heartrate.
* If you could take a peek inside, you would witness your child's reflexes in action! (Sucking, swallowing and blinking are now evident.) She is probably even hiccuping even though you don't feel it yet!
* Your baby has learned to breathe! This is apparent from the regular movements of his chest. Isn't it amazing that he is able to breathe "underwater," inhaling and exhaling small amounts of amniotic fluid? These actions help the lungs to develop and grow.

15wks

I'm officially 15wks & 3days pregnant! Hopefully i can take a photo tomorrow. I thought i was getting some of my energy back but this weekend i've been nothing but exhausted. I think i have felt the baby move but it is hard to tell. It's been 5yrs since i felt Chloie inside for the first time so I don't remember to well what it felt like.
Only 3 more weeks until we hopefully find out if we are having a boy or girl! I am so excited and can't wait.

Here is a few info from some pregnancy site about what is happening this week:

Your nearly four-inch long gymnast is happily mobile inside your womb and if you're really lucky, you’ll notice a point when your sneezing, coughing or laughing results in a little kick here or a poke there. Still, many women don't feel anything until the 17th week or later. Although the poking and kicking isn't very charming during sleeping hours, it’s a good sign as it means your baby is actually reacting to outside events. Yay! You’ve got yourself one active healthy baby! Their little elbows and knees are bending more freely this week and their little legs are finally growing longer than their arms and getting pumped up for prenatal Richard Simmons. Many of their major organ systems are increasing in capacity—particularly that amazing tiny heart and complex circulation system, which is now pumping about 25 quarts of blood per day, and will increase to a very impressive 200 quarts per day by the end of the pregnancy. As far as hair goes, we’ve got some new scalp patterns beginning to develop on the head, although actual head hair is not yet present.

Online predictions

While reading another pregnancy blog i spotted an online gender predictor based on the babies heart beat. Here are the results:

babybpm fetal heart rate gender predictor

Hopefully in a few weeks at our next appointment we will know if that is right or not!

13 1/2 wks

My appt was at 4pm and didn't get out of there till 5- 5:15. So anyways we heard the baby's heartbeat!!! That made my day! It was 150 beats per minute. Then the dr asked is we wanted to see the baby. I was like of course. So she did a quick ultrasound and we saw the baby swinging it's arms and kicking it's legs and the heart beating. I feel so blessed. I felt very blessed after 2 yrs of Trying to conceive to have Chloie then after all the problems after i feel blessed twice to be having this baby. When i heard the heartbeat and saw the baby Cory and I both shed a few tears. We thought we were going to be a family of three and that we should just feel blessed to have Chloie. I thank God for both of my miracles! Thank You to everyone for all the thoughts and prayers! It means alot to us!

I go back to the dr in 4wks. I told Dr Sullivan that i would be bringing Chloie because she wants to see the baby. She said she would be sure to to do an ultrasound for her to see the baby. She also said she can't promise but she will try to see if we can tell what we are going to be having at that time! So the count down is on to see if Miss Chloie is going to have a baby brother or sister!

We're Pregnant!

Surprise we're pregnant! A few days after Hurricane Ike i realized i might be pregnant. Five tests later it really started to sink in there were in deed 2 lines and we are having another baby. Now my first reaction was to tell Cory and cry and pray. I didn't want to go through another miscarriage. So after calling the dr and waiting a week for an appointment we got to see the baby's heartbeat! That made me feel great to see the heart beat but still nervous and scared will we make it out of the first trimester. Thanks to lots of family and friends prayers!

Next appt is 10/13/08
